LOUD COWS - soprano Emma Tring and mezzo soprano Lucy Goddard

Lucy and emma have been exploring what it means to be female artists and creators.

Their loud cows vocal duo has emerged from this space.

​

The main thing we want as artists is to be finding ways to explore and reflect our experiences as women and to bring these experiences into our working lives.

The poetry that inspired our name is by Canadian author Ursula Le Guin and is published in a collection of her writings exploring feminism and gender called Space Crone.​

Promoting and championing composers who we really believe in.

Choosing the repertoire, commissioning the repertoire and interpreting it in a way that feels right to us.​

the Loud Cows duo feels really important to us, it feels really significant.​
